Annie Ruth
Burnett (Wimberly)

Annie Ruth, the daughter of John and Clara Wimberly born in Pompano Beach, Florida. Annie was baptized at an early age.

Annie attended Coleman Elementary and graduated from Blanche Ely High School in 1963. Annie worked at Benedictine and Modcomp for several years. She later became employed by the Broward County School Board as a baker at Blanche Ely and Pompano High School.

Annie was a member of Saba Court #172 Daughters of Isis. Her favorite pastime was playing Pokeno with family and friends, this brought much joy and happiness to her.

Annie Ruth had two sons, Rodney McNabb and Cedric Wimberly. One grandson Tyrell Wimberly. Annie had eleven siblings.
