Helen was born in Cochran, Georgia to Samuel and Mossie Lee Jackson. Helen received her formal education from the Broward School System, while attending Coleman Elementary and Blanche Ely High School. She was employed by the Broward County for 27 years.
Helen was a faithful member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. She later became a member of New Creation Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Raymond Curry. There she served in the Women’s Ministry, AGAPE Ministry, Sunday School and the kitchen Ministry
On September 12, 1966, she married Mr. Theophilus Price.
Helen children: Everett, Vaughn, Miranda, Darence Glass; Shawana Souffrant, Jeffrey Rodger’s and Josh Burroughs. Siblings: Samuel, Jr, Margaret, Betty, Elizabeth and Emma
