Williams (Wimberly)

Ruby Lee was born in Cochran, Georgia, to Mr. and Mrs. John Wimberly Sr. She accepted Christ and served faithfully as a member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church.

She graduated from Blanche Ely High School in 1955. She was employed by the Broward County School Board for nine years. She was a member of Saba Court #172, Daughters of Isis, the White Cactus Women’s Club, and the Garnets.

She had five sons: Herman and Eric Adams, Kelvin Wimberly, and Darryl and Jeffrey Williams. She also had two grandsons, three granddaughters, and one daughter-in-law
